About Christian Medical Centre

Christian Medical Centre was established in 1904 by Canadian Baptist Missionaries in Pithapuram, a town near Kakinada, in Andhra Pradesh along the coast of Bay of Bengal. It is built in one of the most beautiful parts of the state. It holds the proud reputation of having served the population in and around Pithapuram for over a century. One of its primary objectives is to cater to the medical needs of the poor and needy who are unable to afford medical treatment otherwise. The lower to middle socio-economic classes of these areas are able to receive adequate medical care through this institution. The hospital has a zeal to bring medical services to all these people without any bias. In order to fulfil the desire to provide health care, there are a lot of resources that are required. Over the course of the century, the hospital has been able to thrive and progress in various fields of medical advancement
